Site specific project at Museo Casa Pintada in Mula (Spain)

Liquid Tales takes the old cellar of the Casa Pintada (pinted house) as a starting point for an inquiry about the local memory in the form of interactive installation. Through it, the space of the museum -an eighteenth century mansion which since its construction has fulfilled various roles in the private and public life of the inhabitants of Mula- showing the faces and voices of people of different ages who tell their memories over time. The title refers to the way in which we habitually form and meaning to life experience (the story) and the former contents of the cellar (water, oil and wine)

Each vase is related to a different storie

When pouring the water onto the vase we will activate the sound of a storie. Speed of the sound is in relation with how the water is poured onto the vase.

In the first floor there are different videoprojectios with the storytellers´s portrait. It remains static until somebody activates the stories playing with the water at the cave.
