Visual essay that is constructed from the automatic translation of the curatorial text into images. A custom made software continously searches for images on the Internet related with the main concepts developed in the exhibition discourse. Those images are projected into the exhibition space which looks like an archive.
The installation shows a series of yuxtaposed images and videos that are changing over time, at different rates, generating continuous and random visual lectures of the exhibition in relation to the huge and always expanding iconography of internet.
This work operates only in the specific context of the exhibition whose curatorial text analyzes. In one hand it questions the unstoppable expansion of the online image as a registry of the world. At the same time it show us how visual representations on the globalized networks are becoming homogeneous. Concepts become icons that are repeated over and over again.
