On existence, contemporaneity and life in the neighbourhood
The Conversation is a virtual group in the Telegram application not linked to any pre-existing group of people or association, without reflection in a physical group, without any meeting place or incarnation that raises the possibility of shaping in the Carmen neighbourhood a social body without organs, a fluid entity that activates a reflection on life in the neighbourhood and is at the same time a neighbourhood, a public square, a contact area between neighbours, organizations, knowledge and ideas.
The Conversation is an open neighbourhood space to explore together the idea of the neighbourhood and its forms in the context of contemporary society, in the here and now of life in the El Carmen neighbourhood of Valencia. La Conversación es un grupo virtual en la aplicación Telegram no vinculado a ningún grupo pre-existente de personas o asociación, sin reflejo en un grupo físico, sin lugar de encuentro ni encarnación alguna que plantea la posibilidad de dar forma en el barrio del Carmen a un cuerpo social sin órganos, un ente fluido que active una reflexión sobre la vida en el barrio y sea barrio al mismo tiempo, plaza pública, zona de contacto entre vecinos, organizaciones, saberes e ideas.
La Conversación es un espacio vecinal abierto para explorar juntas la idea de barrio y sus formas en el contexto de la sociedad contemporánea, en el aquí y ahora de la vida en el barrio de El Carmen de Valencia.
